Just came across an interesting WTB on the German eBay site:
"Der HP-41 CY ist ein von der deutschen Firma W&W umgebauter HP-41 CX mit 32 KByte RAM." In English, it says that the HP-41CY is the HP-41CX rebuilt by a German firm with 32 kB RAM.
This is the first time I've heard of this one. Did anybody else hear about this model?
Viktor
Yes, it's true. There was such a machine by W&W. I don't believe, the company exists anymore.
There was a short article in the CCD-Magazine (the German Users club publication). I don't know, if I own it, but I can search for it.
AFAIK W&W produced and imported some other accessories for the HP calculator line. I remember a graphics video interface for HP-IL, which was HPGL compatible (I guess the name was the GRABAU video interface).
Yes W&W Software does still exist. I have contacted them previously regarding the CCD (Computer Club Deutschland) module for the HP-41. I contacted Gunther Fucke at W&W two years ago and was told they no longer have any HP-41 CCD modules.
Hi, there,
nice to hear from people, who have an CX and ask for the CCD-Module.
I've purchased a CX and the CCD-Module from W&W. Both work fine since '85. Currently I try to find a .rom file of that module. (I would like to see it running on my PC in V41 or HP41e, two great emulators.)
Please forward the phonenumber of W&W or the CCD to me by email. Also, if known, an URL where I can find the .rom-file or the listing.
Thanks a lot!
