I know that a couple of websites have some, but does anyone have a set of links to many/most of the HP-41 rom images on a webpage? If not, that sounds like it would be quite useful.

Examples might be a single page like this:

CCD ROM ver B - link to rom image

ZENROM ver A - link to rom image

PPC ROM - link to rom image

Finance 1D - link to rom image

etc. Anyone have such a page or feel like trying to help put one together? Would be very useful for things like the HP-41 Palm emulator that lets you use rom images, the Emu41 on the PC that lets you use them, and so on.

Dear Gene,

if you are looking for HP41 rom-image files for EMU41 I can help you :-)

Best wishes from Germany - Christoph

Since there are uses now for many of these, I thought a central page with links to where each rom image could be found would be a good thing. :-)

I collected some of these ROM-files as well... (CCD, Hepax, ..) very usefull....

I would offer copies, alas I did not start yet to ask for permision to do so from the copy right owners. So I only show this: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/nutem/romim.htm

Ciao.....Mike

I have a lot of them.
I think, but may be I'm wrong, that disassembled listings
of ROM such *.LST easily get authorization and problems do not occur.
*.BIN files for JFG's Emu41 are real copies of ROM, *.41R for HP SDS II also.
I'm building a site with those files.
To be continued...

[pre]Another and smooth solution is to use Kazaa.
On my site I'll put a listing of file names
and you can download it easily via Kazaa.
What do you think about?[pre]

Kazaa? What's that? :-) Seriously, what's the URL for your site again?

Note that SPACE (ASCII character 32) is NOT allowed in URLs, despite what Microsoft says[1].

So your link:

http://pageperso.aol.fr/Xeq41/PANAME ROM.htm

will not work with browsers that follow the URL conventions.

[1] Microsoft also considers \ characters to be path separators (like /) so that DOS/Windows file paths work. However, this is also incompatible with the URL conventions and is not likely to work with other browsers.

Thanks, Vassilis !
Replaced the wrong URL:
http://pageperso.aol.fr/Xeq41/Paname/PANAME.htm
In case of "space", please replace by "%20".
