Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone knew of any applications that simulate the functionality of an HP41C or an HP42S on a PC. I have gotten 3 of my HP41's stolen along with other stuff and I would not be buying them again, but I have tons of programs for those. I thought that I might take advantage of those that way. Your response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Andreas

Andreas, there are two very interesting 41 emulators. One of them emulates a CX and has a very realistic graphic appearance. Also - wouldn´t you like to post the serial number of your stolen units, supposing you took note of them ? Did anyone else had their HPs stolen at any time ? Is this (stolen Hps) an issue for this community ?

Give a look at EV41, nice HP41 emulator (and free). TTCalc is good, but the incomplete documentation (some in german) doesn't help too much...

Try
. Warren Furlow's "V41" (Do a google search)
. Stefan Seiwerth's "ttCalc" at http://www.hpcalc.org/hp48/pc/emulators/ttcalc13.zip

Both are very well-crafted programs.

Please test and taste Jean-François Garnier's new Emu41.
It emulates HP-41C/CV/CX, handles HP-IL peripherals
via HP82973A HP-IL/PC card (printer, mass storage unit,
plotter, ...).

Dear Andreas,

yes, - follow the tip from Emmanuel and test EMU41. Some information about this advanced software you find in the HP-Museum article forum under the new item "HP41-PC Gateway & Emulator". This is the worlds first emulator solution which includes HP-IL support. Also the needed HP-IL/PC Interface Card is available again...
