can additional memory modules be added to an hp-41C with quad-memory already installed?

Thanks

No, only 4 mem modules or their equivalent is the max. You can add the extended functions/memory modules to get a "ramdisk" sort of extra memory.

Hi;

only the Extended Memory Modules can be added to an HP41CV OR an HP41C with the quad memory; even the HP41CX accepts X-memory modules. Extended memory also needs the Extended-memory functions set to be accessed. These X(tended)-functions already exist in the standard HP41CX.

There is more information here, at the museum pages. Try here and scroll a few pages (6~9) down under Updating the Architecture and you'll see a brief description of the Extended Memory managment.

Hope it helps.

Best regards.

Hi, David;

as I was writing my post down, you posted yours.

Just to let you know (I write fast, but I have to spell check and verify if the text is readable and understanding... it is a bit time consuming, you know.)

I thought about removing my post, but I decided to keep it as complementary data.

O.K. for you?

Cheers.
