Full Version: [WP34s] last QtGui version not working

The last QtGui version (30.8.) gives an error message "QtNetwork4.dll not installed" - the previous version (28.8.) was still working.

Pascal has added the printing functionality. It looks like you need another Qt module (networking) for it to run. I'm no Qt guy but you should simply google for the name of the missing DLL.

Yes, I've already done it, but there are quite a few different versions. For me it's not a problem because I still have the previous (working) version here - I just wanted to post it because I think the downloadable Qt-version should of course be complete and work without having to search for any additional modules.

I've uploaded a new version which should fix it. The problem occurs only on Windows because it is a crap OS :-)

Yes, such a crap that 90% of all PC users use this OS. ;-)

Didn't we have this mass-quality discussion at least once before? Is e.g. the biggest newspaper (the one with the biggest letters) also the best?

Not that I could remember.

Hmmm? What have the 'biggest letters' of a newspaper to do with the 'most users' of an OS??? A really stupid comparision, more useful would be to compare it with the 'most readers'.

But I'm not interested in such a discussion at all, I know the usual arrogance of many *nix/*nux users calling Windows a crap.

Ok, I should have skipped the 'biggest letters', but here the newspaper with the most readers by far is also known as 'the big letter newspaper'. Sorry for that ambiguity. So let me ask again: Is the biggest newspaper the best?

Well, before an answer maybe you should first define 'best'. ;-)

At least for most people this newspaper _is_ the best, just as for most people Windows _is_ the best (else they won't use it).

But that's rather a philosophical dicussion, and that's nothing I would like to do in a foreign language ...
