there is a great book from Lansing Alfred about the whole story, if you are looking for a book to bring with you for the next holidays, check this out :-)

I'll second that recommendation. It would also make a wonderful gift to any your person who likes superheros and stuff like that. Here's a story that's just as good, and it's TRUE.

Also, check out the expedition photos by Frank Hurley. They are truly incredible and the fact that Hurley was able to keep so many of them is a miracle in itself.
