Hi all,

I've been heavily using the copy of the HEPAX manual, and found it useful to develop my NoV's project.

However, the available copy is not very handy since it's just a scanned image.

So I've taken the time to rebuild the volume 2 (the one I use more often) and think it may be of interest to some of you.

Thanks to Ángel Martín for providing the scanned images of the covers.

The PDF file is available here.

I've tried to make it as accurate as possible, including the addendum errata, as well as correcting some known errors in the original print. Anyhow, some OCR errors may have found their path into the PDF file. Please notify if you find any.

A couple of Appendices have been removed since they are not useful any longer: "Warranty and service information" & "Addresses of User groups"

Best wishes from Spain.

Diego.

P.S. I don't use the volume 1 very often, however, if there is a general interest in having it also reprinted. I can do it (just allow a few weeks, it's a time consuming task... ;-) A good quality scan of the pictures on module insertion/extraction will also be welcome for the volume 1... :-)

What a wonderful job Diego, many thanks for taking the time and effort to get this jewel avaiable to the masses (all those people programming 41 MCODE :)

Even if you never do a byte of MCODE this manual is worth reading from cover to cover, so great news it's now here, searchable and in all full glory.

Best wishes,
'AM

Diego,

Thank you very much for the high quality of your job.

If you happen to scan Vol. 1, I would be most happy to download a copy also.

I have an HEPAX Module and I use it now and then but I could certainly use it much better with a User's Manual.

Thank you and Best Regards

Antoine M. Couëtte

Good effort Diego - a pdf of an old HP document that is searchable - Woo Hoo !! I like the way it's nicely formatted for double sided printing too.

I guess Volume 1 would be nice for completeness :-)

I wish someone would do the same for Ken Emery's book.

Cheers,
John

Thanks for your kind words.

This was the primary aim: a printed, good quality manual:

:-)

Cheers.

BTW, I've already found a few "formatting bugs"... they're *de-bugged* now.

Ha, ha... good point indeed Ángel...

Not that Dan Brown is gonna feel uncomfortable by this new Best Seller pushing him out of the "Top List"... but may his editor is about to seek my cel. number... :-))

Ok, bit more serious now, I've done that mostly for myself, and think it may be useful for the NoV's users out there who may find easier to gaining access to M-code; even if they just give a go for the fun...

I'm glad you appreciate it.

Best from "The Canaries"

Diego

Thanks for your compliments Antoine.

Vol. 1, will more likely see the light sooner or later, although it may take a while. (I travel a lot...)

I have not the originals, and the scanned copy available is not of much quality, therefore, the pictures in the vol. 1 are not useful for a verbatim replica of the original. But that can be worked out (with a little help of some friends around here... :-))

Kind regards and enjoy your 41!

Diego.

Very nice. Thank you.

Thanks a lot Diego!
I know it will come the day when I'll have time to study it... :)

Greetings,
Massimo

You're welcome!

The "final cut" document will be ready by next Monday.

Thanks to Thomas Klemm for pointing out many misspelled words in the previous PDF.
