Yesterday, I went back to the university where I obtained my master in computer science, as they organized a "back to the campus" day. They were demonstrating some old equipment and there were of couse some old HP calculators. I happened to pass by my personal locker and by curiosity I tried to open it using the number combination I remembered. Very suprisingly, I was able to open it and I found a very unusual HP calculator. It was labeled as an HP-37 and looked like a merging of the HP-35 and the HP-67. It had a red led display, the brown case and the card reader of the HP-67 but the keyboard layout was of the HP-35. I said to myself ,WOW this must be a unique prototype !

And then I just woke up ...

This actually is the dream I had last night and I wanted to share it to the MoHPC community, as this probably reflects the hidden fantasy we all have : to find a unique HP calculator prototype while digging out some forgotten boxes.

Cheers,

Pascal.

PS: Yesterday, I happened to read Geoff Quickfall posting (Here) about the Corvallis display showing this very nice collection of calculators and that's probably what triggered this dream.
