It comes with the original manual, copyright 1973. It has the optional LED display and it still works perfectly. It's missing the carrying case though. This thing really is built like a tank. What a blast from the past. It reminds me of the old mechanical adding machines at the repair shop I used to deliver for in 1977, except this thing is a scientific calculator. I have no idea where I'm going to put it. Update: the serial number is: 1314A02082

Welcome in the club :-) ... my wife complains nealy every day about "these ugly things" that always seem to be in her way. I have three of them, one with and one without the carrying case, but both of them with the same paper advance problem. Some worn belt or drive roller. So I bought a third one (defective and very cheap) for spares. If only I had the time to look after it.

I had one of them on my office desk for a few days, but I takes up too much space there - it was made in the days when office desks had no computer keyboard, mouse pad and monitor on them. Now I have an old Olympia calculator with nixie tubes there that uses ony half the space of the '46 but attracts even more curious questions frim the colleagues.

Greetings, Max

Hi.
Nice find! I know where to put it, I have the space... ;-)

Cheers!
