Hi,

I just had to replace the batteries of my good old HP15C and it came back with the 0.0000 notation.

How can I get it to use the "," as decimal separator (i.e. displaying gib numbers like this 12.435.567,34)?

I vaguely rememeber that there is a special key sequence to use but since it was something like 15 or even more years ago, I gave up trying to remember which one exactly...

Needless to say I lost the documentation...

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

François

Francois,

This is taken from the manual:

"You can reverse this setting to conform to the numerical convention used in may countries.

To do so, turn off the calculator. Press and hold ON, press and hold ., release ON, then release . (ON/.). Repeating this sequence will set the calculator to the previous dispplay convention.)

Hope this helps

Frank

François, just try this sequence:

1) [calc off]

2) press the "." key and keep it down

3) press ON key

4) release "." key

It worked here.

Greetings,

Massimo
