Hello, my name is Fernando and I am posting from Argentina.
I have an old -and beautiful- HP-41C that was my partner when I was a student.
I have recently found it in a box and.... it works!!!!

I remember that when I wanted to set the way of displaying numbers (like 9,999.99 or 9.999,99) I had to set some "SF" or "CF" flags, buy unfortunately I don´t remember exactly.

Any of you can tell me the complete list of SF/CF functions? (sorry if my English is wrong....)

Thanks in advance!

SF 28 => decimal point

CF 28 => decimal comma

SF 29 => grouping of thousands

CF 29 => no grouping indication

Your device should've remembered the chosen settings since you last used it. I've heard some amazing stories of HP's retaining of memory contents. But maybe you think differently about dots and commas nowadays and want to adjust.

Hola, Fernando:

Puedes conseguir esa información en este enlace, dentro del
propio MoHP:

Programación de la HP-41C

Lo que tu necesitas en particular depende de los dos flags
28 y 29, tal y como se cuenta en esa página:

    Number Display Control Flags (28 to 29)

Flag 28 controls the radix and separator marks. It may be
set for American or European styles. When flag 29 is set
groups of three digits are separated with commas or points
depending on the setting of flag 28.

Saludos de V.

(In English, please ...)

Hi, Fernando:

The info you seek may be gathered from this very MoHP site,
at the link:

HP-41C Programming

What you want to accomplish, in particular, depends on these
two flags 28 and 29, as told in said page:

    Number Display Control Flags (28 to 29)

Flag 28 controls the radix and separator marks. It may be
set for American or European styles. When flag 29 is set
groups of three digits are separated with commas or points
depending on the setting of flag 28.

Best regards from V.

Thank you very much!!!!
It works!

Muchas Gracias!!!!
Funciona!
