Full Version: Success with MLDL2000 + HEPAX + HP-IL

A straightforward attempt to relocate the HEPAX to page 9 succeeded. My configuration is now:

Page        Contents
7 HP-IL
8 CCD-OSX
9 HEPAX-1D
A HEPAX RAM
B HEPAX RAM
C HEPAX RAM
D HEPAX RAM
E Sandbox (L)
F Sandbox (U)

I hand relocated the RAM from 8-B to A-D. This entailed changing the previous and next pointers at $XFE7 and $XFE8 to point to the new values. HEPDIR reports "H:DIR EMPTY" and HEPROOM gives 2,610.

Hi, Howard;

just to add that page #5 in HP41C/CV can also be used (CX uses it). In my case, I usually add -M2K ROM there, at page #5, HEPAX in page #7 and leave the rest for RAM addressing and experimentation. Whenever needed, one can load an image of any existing ROM in the upper pages by simply loading the RAM ´block´ in the MLDL2000 that corresponds to the page one wants the ROM image to be located, and change the last valid RAM contents so it fits in the new arrangement. No need to reprogram the SR contents.

I also tested FORTH emulator (pages #4 and #5) successfuly, but I did not find any reference about it. Anyone?

Best regards and congrats!
